King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah inaugurated
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz patronized the opening ceremony of the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah yesterday evening. The inauguration was followed by the finals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup between the soccer teams Al-Ahli of Jeddah and Al-Shabab of Riyadh.
At the venue, the monarch was joined by Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz; Deputy Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz; Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz; Jeddah Governor Prince Mishaal bin Majid bin Abdulaziz; Makkah Governor Prince Mishaal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; General President of Youth Welfare Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz; Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Al-Naimi; Saudi Aramco President Khalid Al-Faleh; Chairman of the Saudi Soccer Federation Ahmed Eid Al-Harbi; and a number of other officials.
After Al-Shabab defeated Al-Ahli 3-0, King Abdullah presented the Cup to the winning team.
