Jubail school reelects chairman
Mohammed Taher Mohiuddin has been re-elected chairman of the managing committee of the International Indian School- Jubail for the second term.
All the members of the managing committee, including Budda Raju, Ateeq-ur-Rahman, Nasiruddin Ansari, Nishad Abdul Khader, Zakir Hussain and Dr. Nasim Ahmad, unanimously expressed their confidence in Mohiuddin’s chairmanship
Dr. Syed Hameed, school principal, was also present during the meeting. Mohiuddin thanked members for reposing their trust and confidence in him and said that he was honored to work with excellent committee members who are committed to serving the school and the community with the aim of making the school a model institution, not only in academics, but in other co-curricular and extracurricular activities as well.
Mohiuddin said the management committee is committed to improving educational facilities and to providing a conducive environment for teaching and learning.
He said the establishment of 50 “smart” classrooms will be completed and that students will be provided with lockers.
New laboratories were established for the girls’ section and additional computer labs were deployed for both the boys’ and girls’ section.
Infrastructure development and the construction of a separate block for senior secondary girls have begun owing to the ever-increasing demand for admission.
In addition, classrooms in the girls’ section and a separate administrative block are under construction.
These projects will be completed within six to nine months.
The committee is in talks with SAPTCO and a decision will soon be formalized to meet the transportation needs of the school.
The school also held a series of workshops.
“The welfare of our excellent and dedicated staff is very much essential and is of utmost priority. As such, the management committee has taken up the internal promotion of teachers and staff. While the promotion of staff is already over, teacher’s promotion will be completed by the end of May,” Mohiuddin said.
He thanked parents and community members for their continued cooperation and support and assured them that the committee will leave no stone unturned and strive to provide the best educational facilities for their children at the school.
