9 professors suspended for links with Brotherhood
ABHA – Nine university professors, two of them Saudis, have been suspended for ties with the Muslim Brotherhood, sources told Okaz.
They are still under investigation. Seven of them hail from neighboring Arab countries.
Preliminary investigations have shown that all the professors have exchanged voice messages and emails with foreign organizations.
Sources expected that the results of the investigations will be ready next month. Those guilty will face prison and fines in addition to deportation.
Earlier this month, three imams in the southern region were banned for life after they were found to be connected to the Muslim Brotherhood.
