No MERS deaths reported in 24 hours

JEDDAH – In the past 24 hours the Kingdom did not register any death from the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) coronavirus.

However, the Ministry of Health reported four new cases in the past 24 hours.

A 29-year-old woman, who was in contact with a confirmed case but did not show any symptoms, has been isolated at home in Riyadh.

A 32-year-old man, who was in contact with a confirmed case but did not show any symptoms, has been isolated at home in Jeddah.

A 25-year-old woman has been isolated at home in Qunfudah.

A 45-year-old woman, suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease, has been admitted to a government hospital in Qunfudah.

Two patients recovered: A 39-year-old man was discharged from a government hospital in Jeddah on Sunday and a 44-year-old woman was discharged from a private hospital in Jeddah.
