:: Saudico Electronic Systems (SES), a leading IT firm in Saudi Arabia, with Micros Systems Inc., a global provider of leading enterprise-wide applications, services and hardware for the hospitality and retail industries, hosted a full-day hospitality solutions event in Jeddah.

This event was organized to showcase the new solutions and to share information about the next generation IT solutions and trends in the hospitality industry.

The event was opened with a speech delivered by Soufyan Al-Kabbani, general manger of Saudico, who welcomed and expressed utmost appreciation for the overall cooperation and business trust the customers are keeping with the company.

Micros was represented by Oliver Menzel, VP services and business development Middle East and Africa, who took the opportunity to congratulate and thank the Micros users in Saudi Arabia.

Adnan Yateem and Marcel Kamenik two senior managers’ from Key Information Technology in Dubai, the regional distributor for MICROS were also present at the event.

The visiting officials shared with the audience the latest development on both Property Management Systems (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) technologies and the latest mobile and web enabled tools that interact in real time to put more usable information in the hands of owners and operators, and guests alike.

The attendees were given an open forum to get the answers to questions.

The participants were able to get the first hand opportunity to see and experience all the new products like Opera Mobile, Micros Simphony, Micros inMotion and Micros mStation POS tablet device that were showcased at separate area in the event venue.

The participants also had the opportunity establishing networks for information sharing with other MICROS users in Saudi Arabia.

The event was successful; more than 150 attendants (hoteliers, restaurateurs and several Hotel Management students) have declared the event as very informative and 95 percent overall satisfaction.
