Students want women in top govt jobs
RIYADH — A survey conducted by King Saud University showed that 88 percent of students on government scholarships in the US and Canada support the appointment of women in high government positions. Faculty member and the study’s supervisor, Sanaa Al-Otaibi, said students on government scholarships have been exposed to different cultures regarding women’s role in society. The study concluded that students were more concerned with social matters concerning women, such as driving, domestic violence, freedom and responsibility, marriage and abilities.
