Outstanding contributors to boosting Saudi-Pakistan relations honored
Nazaria-e-Pakistan Trust, which promotes the ideology of Pakistan, held an award ceremony on Wednesday to honor Saudis and expatriate Pakistanis who have worked toward promoting Pakistan and Saudi-Pakistan relations.
Pakistan Consul General Aftab Ahmed Khokher was the chief guest at the function which was also attended by Ambassador Izzat Kamil Mufti and Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Nasseef.
Khokher praised the efforts of Nazaria-e-Pakistan President Masood Puri and Safia Ishaq and their team members on the occasion.
Puri said that the two-nation theory is crucial to the establishment of the country and there is a tremendous need to make Pakistani youngsters both in Pakistan and abroad aware of this important fact.
Puri also explained the importance of the two-nation theory and the establishment of Pakistan.
He read out the message of Dr. Majeed Nizami, the founder and chairman of Nazaria-e-Pakistan Trust, in which he stressed the importance of spreading awareness among the youth about the two-nation theory to secure the future of Pakistan. He said it was the duty of teachers to teach the two-nation theory and the creation of Pakistan.
The government of Pakistan praised the efforts and work of Nazaria-e-Pakistan Trust. It also allocated some funds to establish the Quaid-e-Azam House and to educate the new generation about the significance of the ideology of Pakistan.
The Quaid-e-Azam Award was given to Dr. Abdullah Omar Nasseef, president of the World Muslim Congress, Tarek Mishkhas, editor of Urdu News, Abubakar Memon, Shafiquz Zaman, the celebarted calligrapher of the Prophet’s Mosque and businessman Nazir Memon.
