The Brain Hunt quiz competition organized by the International Indian School Parents’ Forum in Buraidah was a big success with the participation of a large number of parents and children. The program was conducted with the support of City Flower. “It was instrumental in developing a new culture of learning among expatriate children,” said M.A Salam, chairman of the event committee.

The parents’ forum published and distributed a data bank with 500 questions and answers among the students two months earlier. Eighteen finalists have been selected through three prior written examinations for seniors and juniors. Deera Market, TVS Cargo, and Bismi travels sponsored the final teams. Each team included three members.

In the senior category, Deera, TVS, and Bismi teams received first, second and third positions respectively. In the junior category the winners were TVS, Bismi, and Deera teams. Professor Mirza Zaheer Baig was the Quiz master. Sulaiman bin Al Ghaffari, manager public relations at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Qassim opened the program.

Latheef Thacham Pozhiyil, Prasanth Pinarai, Sakeer Pathara and Iqbal Pallimukku attended the event. Anwar Sadath CP, chief coordinator announced the winners. Dr. Naseemudeen, chairman IISB – MMC, Dr. Arif Pasha, Dr. Zakirudeen, member IISB MMC and Mohammed Basheer were also present.

Nasreen Syed, principal IISB, Sheeja Nazer, Reshma Prasanth, Ashiq, manager City Flower, Libas, manger Bismi Travel, Abdul Ghafoor Vadakara, Kassim Paravanna, and Abdul Raheem Farooqi distributed mementos, certificates and other gifts to winners.
