E-linkage of ministries facilitates work
The Ministries of Commerce and Justice have moved to establish an e-link service between them to enable speedy implementation of rulings by judges and to exchange information of entities or persons dealing with the two government bodies.
Following the recent implementation of the e-link service, the Commerce Ministry shared with the Justice Ministry information about all businessmen, their volume of income and assets. The move is an important step to activate the executive judges system which allows confiscation of property of traders who fail to comply with the judicial regulations. The faster electronic service is also expected to deal with the stalling of the implementation of rulings.
Director for Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques program for developing the judiciary in the Ministry of Justice Majed Al-Adwan said starting from the beginning of this week and through the initiative of the e-linkage service, information about businessmen will be made available to the Ministry of Justice.
The Ministry of Commerce supplies vital information on businessmen including their investments, financial returns, commercial registers and places of work.
This disclosure will end the problem of the cases being returned to the Commerce Ministry following the issuing of a ruling that needs to be implemented, making an inventory of fixed and movable property, or defining the location of businessmen and their data.
