The 11 suspected culprits nabbed by police for theft of copper cables.

The Riyadh Police has arrested 11 members of a gang of Pakistani nationals who stole copper cables from various stores in the industrial areas in the capital.

The accused were staying in Riyadh and used to store their stolen goods in a warehouse in the Aqeeq district in the north of Riyadh, according to a statement released by the police,

The stolen goods included steel rods, electronic goods and refrigerators. The police also found a pair of large steel scissors used to cut steel bars and copper cables.

A police patrol was patrolling the neighborhood when it sighted three people jumping out from a large store. The police immediately cordoned off the area and caught eight more suspected robbers inside the large warehouse.

All the suspects are currently in police custody undergoing further investigations to find out if there are any other links to the crime. On completion of the inquiry, the accused will be produced before the court for legal action.
