Bisha police arrested two arsonists who set fire to a police car on Sunday.
The car which belonged to Director of Police Patrol Maj. Muhammad Hanadi was parked in front of his house.

“Police detectives arrested the suspects after discovering their identities and handed them over to the department concerned for further investigations including the motive behind the crime in addition to recording their confessions,” acting spokesman for Asir police Capt. Muhammad Al-Shahrani said.

The police received a report on Sunday that some unidentified people had set fire to the car of Maj. Hanadi and fled the scene. When the firefighters arrived, they could only find the charred remains of the vehicle.

Civil Defense investigators ruled out the possibility of a fire accident and referred the case to the local police for investigation.
