According to a local newspaper, Shouq who was subjected to cuts to the neck by her brother four years ago. Her father admitted her to the National Guard Hospital where she received the necessary treatment. However, Al-Ahli hospital in Al-Nasim neighborhood refused to follow up the case as the medical insurance didn’t cover stopping of the bleeding.

The father of the little girl, Naif Al-Inizi appreciated Prince Miteb who is currently on a visit to France, for standing by his daughter. “His royal highness asked to be notified about my daughter’s situation and told me that Shouq is just like his daughter and that he will personally take care of her file,” the grateful father said adding that the prince also promised to continue with her treatment and guaranteed that she would receive everything she needs.

“Prince Miteb’s gesture is an extension of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah’s kindness who has instilled in the children of this nation the love of charity,” he said.

Al-Inizi said he had received a call from Saad Al-Muhrij, telling him about Prince Miteb’s initiative and his concern for Shouq.
