A new commercial site “Tajra” (www.tajra.net) launched by Ali and Mohammad Saad Al-Ghamdi, specialists in information technology, is a free service to support productive families, particularly women wishing to market their products.
The website is a new e-commerce approach to marketing, which links social networking with e-commerce to offer a number of services to consumers and business owners, according to the founders.
Al-Ghamdi said the website allows businesswomen to carry out their work from home free of charge, and supports both consumers and productive families who are interested in buying and selling via the Internet.
He said that more than 400 female traders have become active on the site since its launch less than two months ago.
The foundation of the project, said Al-Ghamdi, stems from the support of the King Abdullah Scholarship Program, an initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, as they were able to specialize in information technology in the United States and return to serve their community.
