Indians, Pakistanis memorize Holy Qur’an
The Jubail-based Bazme-e-Idrak organized a graduation day (known as “Takreem-e-Huffaz”) at the Marafiq Beach Camp.
A recitation competition prior to the ceremony was conducted by Hafiz Ustad Syed Lutfullah Hussaini in which around 70 students took part.
Asif Kamal Siddiqui, organizer of the ceremonies, introduced guests and student participants, while Mujeeb Sultan gave a vote of thanks and highlighted the teamwork exhibited by Bazme-e-Idrak for the grand success of the program.
The team comprises Sajjad Malik, Ziaur Rahman, Abdulnaseer, Turab Ali and Khaja Mehmood.
Salman Musa Al-Daud, manager of Tahfeez Al-Qur’an, was chief guest at the event.
Syed Hameed, principal of the Indian International School of Jubail, Pervaz Akhtar, vice principal of the Pakistani International School of Jubail, and many prominent community leaders attended the grand function.
Winners of the competitions were awarded with trophies by the chief guest, the principal and the vice principal of PISJ. Judges included Mohammed Siraj Ahmed, Syed Irfanullah and Hafiz Mohammed Ahsan Rasheed.
Syed Waheed Lateef and President Bazme-e-Idrak congratulated students and parents for having memorized the Qur’an in a short span of time and at a very young age.
Among students who memorized the Holy Qur’an were Irshad Abdulrasheed, Hamza Asif Khan, Saud Sarosh Alavi, Mohammed Hillal Abdulaziz, Syed Hazaiffa Najeeb, Mohammed Noman Ahmed, Mohammed Mustafa Kamel and Hamza Sajjad.
