TVTC inks deal on welfare of the handicapped

Technical-and-Vocational-Training-Corporation

The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and Princess Al-Anood Foundation signed an agreement on Tuesday to provide rehabilitation training for individuals with special needs.

The cooperation deal was signed by Prince Mohammad bin Fahd, trustee’s vice chairman of the foundation, with Ali bin Nasser Al-Ghafees, governor of TVTC in Riyadh. The agreement aims to empower the disabled with technical and professional skills offered by the institution through its training programs in colleges and institutes.

Speaking on the occasion, Prince Mohammad said that his mother’s foundation seeks to develop the capabilities of all segment of society, including the disabled. The training program will be tailored to the individual needs of the participants.

Al-Ghafees said TVTC pays great attention to citizens with special needs and believes in the importance of their role in the development of the nation. He added that the corporation prepares individuals with special needs to participate in the community through tailored training programs.
