Expressway pedestrian bridge on Jeddah Makkah Expressway.
JEDDAH — A pedestrian bridge across Al-Haramain Expressway in the Al-Rawabi neighborhood of Jeddah collapsed after a truck crashed into the bridge Thursday. No casualties were reported. Jeddah Municipality said the bridge was included in the maintenance program of bridges and had been closed for over a month. Traffic police were on hand to investigate the accident and the driver of the truck was detained for questioning.
