3 European pilgrims killed, six hurt in highway accident

Three Europeans were killed and six others injured in a horrific accident on their way from Madinah to Makkah to perform Umrah. Madinah Red Crescent spokesman Nayef Al-Ahmadi said two rapid intervention units and five ambulances rushed to the site on Al-Hijrah Road. He said paramedics found three pilgrims were already dead. Five pilgrims escaped with mild injuries while a sixth was transferred to hospital in a serious condition.
