The Passport Department is considering canceling travel permits to Iraq for Saudis in view of the ongoing turmoil in the region.

Some travel agents in the Eastern Province said a number of passengers have canceled their trips to the country and demanded a refund of their money.

Meanwhile, Ahmad Al-Luhaidan, spokesman for the Passport Department, told local media that travel permit applications for Iraq are still being made.
