Fire breaks out on Domat Al-Jandal date farm
Fire rages in a date farm in Domat Al-Jandal.
QURAYYAT — A huge fire broke out on a date farm west of Domat Al-Jandal. Three Civil Defense teams supported by eight firefighting units and several water trucks belonging to the Ministry of Water and local municipalities fought the blaze, which spread quickly due to windy conditions. The Civil Defense firefighters were eventually able to control and extinguish the fire. No casualties were reported.
