Rajinikanth may return to Bollywood
MUMBAI: Actor Rajinikanth, who first acted in Kannada films such as Katha Sangama and Baalu Jenu, was recently visited by Bollywood director Rohit Shetty in Hyderabad.
The actor, who is currently shooting for the Tamil film Lingaa, was visited by the director during the shoot of his film, reports Times of India. While portions of his film have been shot in Mysore, the rest of the film have been shot in other areas of the country.
The highlight of course is that, considering Rajinikanth was visited by Rohit Shetty, rumors suggest that the director could be considering starring him in his next.
Having worked on blockbuster films like Chennai Express, that also had Sandalwood babe Priya Mani, and Singham Returns with Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor, it seems like Rohit will do anything to make his next also a big hit. If Rajini does get offered a Hindi film and agrees to act in it, he will be making his comeback in Bollywood after 2000, when he starred in the film Bulandi.
