Saudia’s Director-General, Saleh Al-Jasser, opens the new lounge for transit passengers at KAIA in the presence of Saudia CEO Abdul Aziz Al-Hazmi, Executive Vice-President of Public Relations Abdullah Al-Ajhar, and other senior officials.

A leading Saudi Arabian Airlines official has urged Saudia executives and field workers at King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA), as well as other employees in maintenance and ground operations, to double up their efforts in improving services to passengers.

Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, director-general of Saudia, made this comment after opening the newly renovated lounge for transit passengers at the airport.

“This lounge reflects our desire to further enhance services to passengers,” the director-general said, adding that the completion of the new Jeddah airport would bring about a remarkable improvement in services.

The new transit lounge has two counters to complete procedures for transit passengers and a business center with computer services and free-WiFi, in addition to a television screen showing flight arrivals and departures.

Al-Jasser said that with advanced facilities, the lounge would contribute to improving the airline’s services to transit passengers. “Special-need passengers will get special services at the lounge,” he said.
