Hashish blocks seized by Border Guard patrols at Al-Tuwal, Jazan.

AL-TUWAL, Jazan – Border Guard patrols in Al-Tuwal foiled an attempt by two youths who were allegedly trying to smuggle 400 blocks of hashish into the Kingdom across the southern borders. One of the two youths was apprehended after they were detected by Al-Tuwal Border Guard patrols. They were riding a car between Al-Mahraqah Al-Sufli and Al-Mahraqah Al-Ulya in the governorate and caught red handed receiving a large quantity of hashish from a number of people at the borders, said officers. The patrols stormed the location and arrested one of the smugglers while the other escaped into Yemeni territory.
