Prince Khaled honored with Makkah excellence award

Education Minister Prince Khaled Al-Faisal received an award of excellence from Makkah Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Abdullah at a huge gathering of princes, ministers, elite and dignitaries from both the government and private sectors at the Jeddah Hilton on Tuesday.

The education minister had been nominated for his work during his time as Makkah governor.

“Prince Khaled played a leading role in introducing several expansion and development projects when he was governor, advancing key economic, social, scientific and cultural initiatives and achieving milestones in the Haj and Umrah sectors,” he said.

This was the award’s sixth session, which was organized by eight branches under the governor’s office.

A presentation highlighting Prince Khaled’s achievements during his time as governor was also given.

Prince Mishaal said that this is the first time all eight branches unanimously nominated a single person, which he said is thanks to Prince Khaled’s influence in spreading the concepts of competition and motivation to enhance quality and motivation.

Prince Khaled thanked the governor and the people of Makkah for the honor.
