Customs officers at Al-Hadeetha checkpoint on the Kingdom’s border with Jordan have seized around 1 million narcotic pills that were stashed inside different parts of a car, according to Ibrahim Al-Eneizi, director of Customs. Some of the pills were hidden inside the doors while others in the spare tire and underneath the seats. Officers became suspicious of the car, carried out a search of the vehicle and found the pills. Al-Eneizi said customs officers are vigilant and work hard to prevent drugs from being smuggled into the country.
