Motorist held for writing slogans on vehicle

Message on Vehical

The Taif governorate police referred on Saturday night a motorist to the concerned authorities for brandishing slogans supporting a militant group on his vehicle. The authorities have seized the vehicle with slogans about the so-called Daish (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) written on the vehicle’s body and glass.

Sources told Okaz that the vehicle was stopped by security patrols on Shihar Street. The slogans were clearly readable on the vehicle’s windows.

Information indicates that the operations room received a report on a motorist who was flashing the word Daish on the vehicle’s sides and windows and they swung immediately into action, holding the driver and impounding the vehicle.
