Four suspected Saudi terrorists have been sentenced to death while 16 others were given jail terms ranging between two and 23 years and banned from traveling abroad, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday.

The defendants, who belonged to a 94-member terror cell, were accused of issuing religious edicts against Saudi rulers, making preparations to wage a war against the Kingdom and attacking the country’s oil installations.

The verdicts were issued by a specialized criminal court in Riyadh.
