Asharqia Resta Tex Expo & Forum to showcase real estate projects

Eastern Province Deputy Gov. Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Mosa’aad, announced the commencement of Asharqia Resta Tex Expo and Forum 2014 events for real estate, housing and urban development on Monday morning. He did this on behalf of Eastern Province Gov. Prince Saud bin Naif.

Senior officials from ministries, government sectors in the province, leaders of major developmental companies, real estate investment companies, housing companies, banks and financial companies from various regions of the Kingdom were among those in attendance.

The activities of this major real estate event, which is the largest of its kind in the region, will continue till Thursday evening at Dhahran International Exhibition Company with the Asharqia Chamber partnership.

The chamber intends to hold its annual real estate forum on Tuesday along with the expo’s events.

According to Ramtan Exposition and Conference and Dhahran International Exhibition Company, its organizer, the expo has managed to attract a large group of major real estate companies that will present a wide range of housing projects in the Eastern Province in particular and the Kingdom in general..

Banks and financial companies will present their latest programs of installment plans for purchase of these housing units throughout the expo.

Many well-known real estate development companies will offer investment opportunities and investment companies for the ones interested in making real estate investments in the future.

The organizers’ statement mentions that the expo will be held covering the entire space of Dhahran International Exhibition Company’s showrooms and visiting hours will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. until Thursday, (Oct. 23).

The Ministry of Housing, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Eastern Province municipality are participating in the event.

According to the statement, there are 15 local real estate developing companies participating in the expo as well as companies from five Gulf countries, who will present housing and real estate projects.

There are also 12 banks and mortgage companies participating in the expo with their offers, murabaha and loans programs, especially during the expo.

“Participating banks and financial companies are expected to offer loaning and financing contacts for SR 200 million for individuals and SR500-1,000 million to finance real estate and housing projects.”

According to organizers, the participants showcasing real estate investments are estimated at SR15 billion divided between housing and real estate development projects.

The expo is expected to attract 10,000 to 15,000 visitors.
