British-Egyptian Beyonce tour photographer dies at 33

The photographer who captured Beyonce’s sweeping Mrs. Carter World Tour lost her battle with cancer this week, passing away at the age of 33.
British-Egyptian Yosra el-Essawy lost her battle with Stage 4, inoperable esophageal cancer on October 25.
The photographer shot Beyonce’s tour and has a wide body of work to her name, including photos of the Egyptian revolution, weddings and a London photography exhibit in 2013 called “Eye.Soul: A Constant Work In Progress.”
El-Essawy was open regarding her battle with cancer, posting updates on her health and her treatments via her Instagram account.
Beyonce’s official website has dedicated a photo to remembering el-Essawy, for whom Beyonce performed a dedicated rendition of her hit “Halo” last spring.
“You will forever be embedded in the hearts of all you have encountered. May you rest in perfect peace,” Beyonce’s website said.
