As part of improving services being provided to the Egyptian community in the Kingdom, the General Consulate at the Egyptian Embassy has moved to launch a free medical checkup campaign for visitors at its premises.

The campaign, which runs under the personal sponsorship of the Egyptian Ambassador Ashraf Shiha, kicked off on Sunday and is being organized by the General Union of Egyptians Working Abroad in conjunction with Al-Nokhba Hospital in Riyadh.

Egyptians visiting the consulate to complete their papers or business-related transactions are eligible to benefit from the free checkup services which are available on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Adel Hanafi, union spokesman, said that it is an important move sponsored by the embassy which allows people to avail of a free medical examination while they wait to have their papers processed.

Meanwhile, Khalid Atman, secretary of the union, thanked Al-Nokhba Hospital for its support in serving the community members.
