Culture and Information Minister Abdulaziz Khoja graced the Career Week Exhibition, organized by King Saud University (KSU) under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah.

He expressed satisfaction about the event, which he said is one way of providing the best opportunities to KSU students who are about to graduate.

“Some 75 companies and organizations participated in the five-day event and interacted with students with the possibility of the latter being hired,” a KSU spokesman said.

The participants came from both the public and private sectors. Those from the public sector were government ministries and from the private sector, companies in petrochemicals, information technology and healthcare, among others.

Accompanied by KSU Director Badran Al-Omar, Khoja also visited the hospital section of the exhibition and was briefed on what the different medical institutions had accomplished.

He visited Dallah Hospital’s private section and was briefed on the medical institution’s achievements since it was established 25 years ago.

Sulaiman Al-Jarboa, Dallah Hospial’s human resources manager, said, “We are delighted to participate in KSU’s career week. We are also keen on presenting plans and holding nationals events that would encourage Saudi youth to pursue their goals and realize their ambitions.”

He added that the hospital’s plans include the creation of jobs, in which they could realize their goals and aspirations.

“Our participation in this event is proof of our commitment to the localization of jobs in line with the vision of King Abdullah,” he said.

On the occasion, the hospital also provided free medical check ups, which included blood pressure and blood sugar level checkups.

Other participants expressed happiness to be part of the search for a good future among KSU graduates.
