King calls for prayers seeking rain

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has called on worshippers to perform prayers for rain in all parts of the Kingdom.

A royal court statement reported by SPA on Tuesday said: “As was the custom of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to pray for rain during times of drought, King Abdullah called on Muslims to perform prayers for rains next Monday, 24 Muharram (November 17), in all parts of the Kingdom.”
