Data services: Mobily, Al-Rajhi Bank ink deal
Mobily has signed a communications and IT (CIT) services agreement with Al-Rajhi Bank.
Ismail Al-Ghamdi, acting business chief officer, signed the agreement on behalf of Mobily.
Ibrahim Al-Rashid, chief officer of IT, signed the deal on behalf of Al-Rajhi bank.
Based on this agreement, Mobily will provide Al-Rajhi Bank with SMS and data services, and will connect all the bank branches via fiber optic network.
Moreover, Mobily will provide advanced connecting service with high technical specifications used mainly in transferring and exchanging of information between data centers, which will develop and improve communications infrastructure efficiency and information technology in the bank.
Al-Ghamdi said: “We are delighted to sign this agreement with Al-Rajhi Bank, one of the largest economic enterprises not only in the Kingdom but in the Middle East as well.:
Al-Ghamdi said: “Our permanent target in Mobily is to provide integrated communication and information technology services for the business sector, which will help this vital sector to perform its duties with all ease.”
Al-Ghamdi added that Mobily relies on a strong and reliable infrastructure, which allows the company to provide a variety of services for the business sector.
This agreement is a continuation of the ongoing cooperation between Mobily and Al-Rajhi Bank, as both parties had launched earlier the Cash Deposit System for companies (GRG smart type), which was launched for the first time in the region, and considered one of innovative electronic means to collect the Lock Box and deposit cash in the big companies and stores around the world.
