Policemen responsible for security inside King Fahd and Prince Faisal bin Fahd stadiums have appeared in new uniforms during Gulf Cup 22.

This new uniform appeared similar to the uniform used by monitors of the world football governing body FIFA in matches and is consistent with the sportswear of crews accompanying teams and clubs.

Riyadh police carried out a variety of security plans during the Gulf 22 Championship, including facilitating and securing the entry and departure of the fans, as well organizing buses to transport teams and referees from their residence to the stadiums and back.

The policemen who wear these new uniforms are responsible for monitoring the behavior of the audiences, and other tasks including conducting traffic and security patrols, emergency response activities and maintaining public security.

The new uniform is expected to add to their prestige and help the crowds identify them in the stadium.
