King tops 2014 Arab Personality survey
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has topped the list of candidates being voted in a poll for Arab personality for the year.
Over 46 percent of respondents have voted for the king in a poll conducted by the TV channel Russia Today.
Results are not conclusive yet as the voting still continues.
On the international level, the survey showed that till now Russian President Vladimir Putin is on top with 80 percent of the votes.
In Egypt, the results of a similar poll, conducted by The Egyptian Today daily stated that the “refugees” were heading the list of world personalities, with Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sissi coming second, followed by Turkey’s President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Angelina Jolie, Malala Yousafzai, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
