Royal Commission chief signs new Jubail deals

Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayan, chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY), has signed two contracts worth SR403,500,000 to set up a residential complex for the commission staff in Ras Al-Khair Industrial City and improve Highway II in Jubail Industrial City .

The first deal was signed with Manazel Building & Construction Co, which will be responsible for supply and construction works at the Royal Commission Compound, located in the northwestern part of Ras Al-Khair Industrial City.

The company will also build residential units, firefighting station, mosque and a building for telecommunications equipment and a number of other facilities.

The implementation period is two years and seven months.

The highway contract was signed with China Harbor Company Engineering Arabia Ltd.

In addition to creating a track in each direction of the street, the project provides for new bridge structure linking relevant highways.

The aqua park between Raqqa and Gelmoudh neighborhoods will also receive a facelift with more facilities under this scheme.

This project is expected to be completed in two years and seven months.
