Riyadh Governor Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, accompanied by Director of Administration of Education in Riyadh Region Mohamed Al-Murshed, visited some schools in Riyadh on Sunday where students sat their exams.

The visits were aimed at addressing any complaints or issues faced by students regarding exam procedures, Ministry of Education officials said.

“The visits show the government’s keen interest in follow up activities involving students and serve as an encouragement to both students and teachers to do their best during examination time,” Al-Murshed said.

He added that the visits also help students to understand that the government represented by the officials of the Education Ministry is interested in hearing their complaints and opinions and willing to provide solutions.

Prince Turki stressed the importance of supporting students and encouraging them to join different activities. “The role of leaders is to encourage community members to involve students in their activities,” he said.

The prince also appreciated the role of teachers as educators of current generations who will be the leaders of the future.
