The Pakistan community in Jeddah honored Mohammed Zubair Badar, a community social worker, for his contribution to the community and help at a local restaurant here.

Badar is a Pakistani businessman and a Kashmiri who always helps people in need; his aid to Pakistan’s victims of flood and other calamities is appreciated by the community.

Armaghan Subhani, member of National Assembly of Muslim League (N) from Sialkot, Pakistan Consul General Aftab Khokher and journalists were among those present.

Subhani said the recent terror attack on the army school in Peshawar united the whole Pakistani nation and government, “Government wants to provide strong security and safety in the country and a stable and progressive nation for everyone,” he said.

Khokher lauded Badar’s community work and wished him long life and prosperity to serve the community and nation. Khokher said the consulate or any other government department cannot serve the community alone; they need the help of community members like Badar.

Badar thanked the whole community and said: “My father Mohammed Hussain was my inspiration and guide.”
