For the second year in a row, flynas has been named the official airline for the third women’s job fair – this year entitled, “A Step Ahead of Employment.”

The Saudi national carrier recently signed an agreement with Glowork, the exhibition’s organizer on Jan. 11

The 3rd Women’s Job Fair will take place from April 1 to 3 in Riyadh.

Wael Sarhan, director of marketing and communications at NAS Holding, and Khalid AlKhudair, CEO of Glowork, at the Glowork headquarters in Riyadh, signed the contract.

Al-Sarhan expressed his satisfaction with flynas’ second participation in this important event.

He said: “We at flynas affirm our commitment to participate in initiatives that support human resource development. ”

He added: “The airline’s participation in the exhibition is a mark of our character as a company, especially as the objectives of the exhibition are consistent with flynas’ vision to provide equal opportunities to Saudi women to assume their role in the renaissance of the Kingdom.”

He said the airline provides various job opportunities for Saudi women because of our strong belief in their abilities. “This year, our social programs are designed to reflect the role of women as effective and valued contributors to this great country.”

Glowork CEO AlKhudair said: “Our partners take major credit for the success of this important exhibition, and we are honored to extend our thanks and appreciation for their valuable contributions. The Saudi carrier flynas has demonstrated continued support as the official airline of the exhibition, which aims to provide support to Saudi women and help them find career opportunities based on their abilities, and develop a career path.”

The “Step Ahead of Employment” exhibition will be held in Riyadh (April 1-3), Jeddah (12-13) and the Eastern Province (28-29).

The exhibition will provide employment opportunities for Saudi women ranging from students in their final years of college to university graduates from all over the Kingdom.

The program consists of six steps designed to help job seekers enter the Kingdom’s labor force by enriching their skills while searching for personal and career opportunities.

The airline has recently announced an increased percentage of Saudization — 60 percent — in all departments and managerial positions at the airline, an increase realized through the company’s efforts to train and develop young Saudis to work in various administrative and technical fields in the aviation industry, a part of the flynas vision of building a fully competent Saudi workforce.
