Manzoor ul Haq, Pakistan’s new ambassador to the Kingdom, presented a copy of his credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister Prince Abdul Aziz in Riyadh on Tuesday.

The prince welcomed the new envoy and hoped that the close and fraternal relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia would grow from strength to strength. The ambassador said he would do his best to further strengthen the existing relations between the two brotherly countries.

The envoy extended best wishes and prayers of the leadership and people of Pakistan for the early recovery, good health and long life of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah. He said the king, a symbol of unity among Muslim Ummah, has worked tirelessly for promoting interfaith dialogue.

The ambassador said the highest number of expatriate Pakistanis reside in the Kingdom who are contributing to the development of the economy of the host country, and serving as a bridge of friendship between the two countries.

Prince Abdul Aziz appreciated the role of Pakistani expatriates and assured that Saudi Arabia would always remain hospitable to its Pakistani brethren.
