Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman meets with Kuwaiti Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in Riyadh on Sunday. (SPA)


Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman held talks in Riyadh on Sunday with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah.

They discussed the latest regional and international developments as well as ways of expanding cooperation between the two GCC countries.

Crown Prince Muqrin, deputy premier, Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar, National Guard Minister Prince Miteb bin Abdullah, Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, second deputy premier and minister of interior, Deputy Foreign Minister Prince Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah and Defense Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman attended the talks.

On the Kuwaiti side, First Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, Deputy Premier Sheikh Mohammed Khaled Al-Sabah, Interior Minister and Finance Minister Anas Khaled Al-Saleh, and Oil Minister Ali Al-Omair attended the talks.

Earlier, King Salman hosted a luncheon in honor of the Kuwaiti emir, who left the Kingdom later in the day.
