The World’s biggest hotel to open in Saudi Arabia
The World’s largest hotel is set to open in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Upon completion, Abraj Kudai will offer 10,000 rooms in 12 different towers.
The project, with a total built area of 1.4 million square metres, is designed by Dar Al Handasah and is located in Manafia, Makkah. Abraj Kudai is expected to be completed in the year 2017.
With an estimated cost of $3.5 billion, the project has already been launched. It will have 12 towers, a total of 10,000 rooms, 70 restaurants, rooftop helipads, royal floors and a full size convention centre. These will all be roofed under what will become one of the largest domes in the world.
The interior design work has been allocated to London-based Areen Hospitality. Two towers will offer five-star amenities while the rest of the ten are to provide four-star accommodation.
