Prince Alwaleed meets Twitter’s CEO in Seattle.


Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), met with Dick Costolo, CEO of Twitter, at the Fairmont Hotel in Seattle, Washington.

During the meeting, Costolo thanked the Prince for giving him the opportunity to meet with him.

Moreover, the two discussed the latest technical, financial and organizational developments in Twitter.

The meeting was also attended by Nada Alsugair, executive director, Finance and Administration, Hassna Alturki, executive manager for International Relations to the chairman, Fahad bin Nafil, senior executive Assistant to the chairman, Ahmed Altubaishi, executive assistant to the chairman and Naief Alzuhair, website and Social Media manager.

Furthermore, Prince Alwaleed and KHC’s strategic investment in Twitter has increased from $300 million to approximately $1.2 billion since Twitter’s IPO.

KHC was founded in 1980 and become publicly traded and listed on Tadawul (the Saudi Stock Exchange) in 2007.

KHC is one of the world’s most successful and diversified business organizations, highly respected in the field of investments and recognized as an elite player in the Arabian Gulf region, and internationally.
