Saudi King Salman receives princes, ministers and scholars
Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz received on Tuesday princes, ministers, scholars and a group of citizens who came to greet him at the Al-Salam royal palace in Jeddah, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The audience was attended by Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Abdulaziz, Prince Bandar bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, Prince Abdullah bin Turki bin Abdulaziz, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal – advisor to the king and Governor of Makkah region – as well as several other princes, ministers, scholars and citizens.
Last week, King Salman received senior Saudi human rights officials at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh. They included President of the Human Rights Commission Bandar Al-Aiban, President of the National Society for Human Rights Mufleh Al-Qahtani, and a number of senior officials.
Speaking on the occasion, King Salman reiterated the Kingdom’s keenness in protecting human rights in line with the Islamic Shariah.
He emphasized that there won’t be any discrimination between citizens and others as far as the law of the land is concerned.
