KSA rededicates itself to service of world poor

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman pledged on Thursday Saudi Arabia’s support for the World Food Program’s efforts to alleviate the sufferings of the poor and needy in different parts of the world.
He said it during his talks with Ertharin Cousin, executive director of the World Food Program. Cousin thanked King Salman and the Saudi government for their continuous support to her agency and similar international organizations, adding that it has enabled them to finance food projects in the region. State Minister Musaed Al-Aiban, Culture and Information Minister Adel Al-Toraifi and Agriculture Minister Abdul Rahman Al-Fadli attended the talks. Later, King Salman received a message from Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, which was handed to the monarch by Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jabir Mubarak Al-Sabah. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior, attended the meeting. |
