Best of Indian art in focus at Dubai
Sanchit Art in collaboration with BAQAA Glamour Weddings & Events and the Kataria Art Foundation, is set to present a unique art exhibition in Dubai that exemplifies the best of modern and contemporary Indian art.
It will be the second successive offering in Dubai and forms part of the exquisite ‘Kalasutra’ art series that is currently on a worldwide tour.
The Sanchit Art exhibition will be a week long Indian art festival showcasing some of the best that Indian art has to offer. Called “Kalasutra” the event will be presenting the very best of both modern and contemporary art from the Indian subcontinent and other parts of the world. The week-long event will be held at the Rira Gallery in DIFC, Dubai and promises to present unique never before seen art pieces in a rare and exclusive visual treat for art lovers.
Art enthusiasts can look forward to viewing the prestigious works of 16 of the most renowned Indian artists of modern times, including the eminent Jogen Chowdhury, Senaka Senanayake and Neeraj Goswami to name but a few. Sanchit Art is also presenting prestigious works of the late Indian masters, MF Husain and Ganesh Pyne, whose esteemed artworks are a part of collections in several international museums, galleries and private collections worldwide.
More top artists will be announced in the coming weeks.
The special art event will open with a private red carpet event for its grand opening on Wednesday Oct. 14 2015, the gallery will then be open to the public from Oct. 15 until Oct. 20. It will be located at Rira Gallery, DIFC which has become Dubai’s art epicenter.
