The golf carts that have been provided by the Central Administration for Development Projects within the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs have transported 30,000 Haj pilgrims so far to their destinations including the sick, the elderly and those with special needs inside the Jamarat facilities.

This has helped them to perform this important part of their Haj journey, according to an online newspaper.

Wajdi bin Hassan Tolah, director of Operations and Maintenance and supervisor of the Golf Cart program inside the facility, said that 234 golf carts are now operating inside the Jamarat facilities as part of the Haj plan.

“These electric golf carts are available with their drivers in all the floors of the Jamarat facilities including near Al-Mashaer railway stations. The carts move on their own special tracks so as not to obstruct the movement of other Haj pilgrims in the area,” he said.
