Lady Gaga is now making waves in the acting world, Daily Mail reports.

The singer recently channeled a retro beauty look for the “American Horror Story: Hotel” press junket in California.

The 29-year-old star, who is starring as The Countess in the fifth series, was joined by her superstar castmates Kathy Bates and Sarah Paulson.

Gaga was typically glamorous in a black dress however her hair and make-up were the focus point.

She wore her blonde locks pinned in a bob which was aligned with her jaw and she gave a peek of her diamond earrings from beneath her hair. The style was reminiscent of the favored pin-curls of the 1920s and was perfectly preened.

In true quirky style, Gaga bleached out her eyebrows instead simply penciling a thin black line over her usual brow.

Her eye make-up was equally retro, with a slick of liquid eyeliner along her lashline and heavy mascara.

Gaga’s over all look was doll like as she answered questions about the forthcoming creepy show.

Sarah was flirty in floral as she wore a chiffon floral gown with panels of different materials.

She wore her bobbed hair in a severe straight style with a dramatic side parting and a singular clip pulling the hair away from her face.

Kathy wore a cream chiffon shirt adorned with a floral pattern which looked stunning with her string of pearls.

“American Horror Story: Hotel” is the fifth season in the American Horror Story anthology horror television series and is set to air next week.

It is Gaga’s debut on the show and she is playing a pivotal role as the blood-thirsty Countess as she runs the fictional downtown Los Angeles inn, the Hotel Cortez.

She has previously featured in cameos in Machete Kills, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For and Muppets Most Wanted and got in touch directly with American Horror creator Ryan Murphy to obtain a part.
