Prince Mohammed bin Salman, deputy crown prince, second deputy premier and minister of defense, has praised the Baha National College of Sciences for launching a scholarship program for deserving students and to honor the country’s martyrs.

The “Hazm” (Decisiveness) scholarship was launched by Prince Faisal bin Mohammed bin Saud, chairman of the college’s board of trustees, a local publication reported recently.

In a letter to the chairman, Prince Mohammed said the program would help the families of those martyred in the line of duty. He agreed that 10 places would be allocated to the families of martyrs. The college launched the initiative to honor those who participated in Operation Decisive Storm in Yemen.

Prince Faisal said the initiative is part of the humanitarian projects of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the country’s leadership to assist the Yemeni government and restore stability to the country.

Mohammed bin Hameed Al-Thaqafi, dean of the college, said this demonstrates the responsibility of the public and private sectors toward the community.
