Two persons, a Saudi citizen and an expat, were injured in Al-Aridha, Jazan, when a number of rockets launched from Yemeni territory crashed into the area, said Maj. Yahya Abdullah Al-Qahtani, a Civil Defense spokesman.

At around 8 a.m. on Thursday, Civil Defense received a report of injuries resulting from rockets launched from Yemen. The injured were transferred to a local hospital for treatment, said the spokesman.

In Asir, Border Guard patrols in Al-Qahma sector foiled an attempt to smuggle large quantities of hashish onboard a Yemeni boat.

Border Guard officers seized the Yemeni boat and detained the four sailors onboard. Inspections led to the seizure of 317.5 kg of hashish, said Lt. Col. Shaie Khalid Al-Qahtani, a Border Guard spokesman.
