The World Scout Committee (WSC) has praised the Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association (SABSA) for its Haj services this year.

At its recent meeting in Baku, Azerbaijan, the WSC said the scouts assisted people by doing maintenance on their homes and helping poor families. The SABSA also helped to propagate the message of Islam inside and outside the country.

Scott Teare, the WSC secretary general, congratulated the Saudi scouts on the occasion of the Kingdom’s National Day and thanked Abdullah Al-Fahad, the SABSA deputy chairman, for his efforts.

Other scouts organizations praised the Saudi members for their environmental work, including cleaning, landscaping and combating desertification and pollution.
